My close friend
Hello everyone! Today I would
like to tell you about my best friend, "A friend in need is a friend indeed"...

Well, nowadays thanks to modern technologies, like
social network or Skype, we can have lots of friends from any part of the
world.
I think that people can only have a few really close
friends. I suppose I’ve got some friends and most of them are really similar to
me. But I should say that I have only one best friend. Her name is Dasha. I met
her at school about 6 years ago. It was my first day in new school, so I was a
little bit nervous, but she was so kind and friendly to me, that I clicked her
straightaway. I think we became friends because we have a lot in common. For
example, we have similar characters and backgrounds. Besides this, Dasha and I
share the same taste in music, clothes, books, art and so on. We keen on
visiting museums and theatres, and I like it very much. When I read about new
exhibition or play in magazine I already know who will come with me. That’s
great, don’t you think so?

What I particularly like about my best friend is
her kindness and great sense of humor. Dasha always supports me. When I feel
bad, I know she will always be there for me. Now she is studying in
Philological University and her main subject is the Russian language and
literature, it’s very difficult, and I don’t exactly know what is harder to
learn Russian or Japanese… Unfortunately, we don’t often see each other, but we
stay in touch by phone and emails. I don’t know where we will live after 10 or
20 years, but I know we will never drift apart.
And I’m so happy that I have
such a nice friend!
